ABOUT JBI
JBI was founded in Ann Arbor by Jordan Belfort, Arthur Sterling and Rachel Grant. All three are Michigan natives and graduated from the University of Michigan in the same year.
They established the firm in their home state to conduct commercial real estate research, origination and introductions. Ann Arbor remains JBI’s home base, with research extending across select U.S. property markets.
Managing Director
Jordan oversees JBI’s origination strategy and the evaluation of potential opportunities. He sets the firm’s research priorities and manages relationships with property owners, investors and transaction professionals.
A Michigan native, Jordan graduated from the University of Michigan and holds an MBA from Harvard University. He co-founded JBI to build a commercial real estate research and origination firm in his home state.
Director, Market Research
Arthur leads JBI’s property, ownership and market research. He reviews property characteristics and market activity to identify relevant assets, assess potential opportunities and inform the team’s outreach.
A Michigan native, Arthur graduated from the University of Michigan and holds an MBA from Harvard University. He co-founded JBI in Ann Arbor with Jordan and Rachel.
Director, Origination
Rachel oversees JBI’s conversations with property owners and investors. She works to understand their interests, acquisition criteria and timing, and evaluates whether an introduction to a specialized transaction professional would be appropriate.
A Michigan native, Rachel graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. She co-founded JBI in Ann Arbor with Jordan and Arthur.
